BRIDESMAIDS!

I went and picked out bridesmaids dresses last night with some of my favorite girls in the world. Now, I have heard horror stories about girls getting together and trying to choose one dress when they all have different styles, bodies, etc. But my experience with my bridesmaids was so much fun. I had originally chosen a dress from J.Crew that I fell in love with. However, they were quite pricey and I didn't want to do that to my friends. Luckily, one of the girls found a similar style that they sold at Dimitra's in Greenville and four of the girls met me after work to look. We settled on a dress within 30 minutes and then went and had a drink! Fun times!

I have to brag on these ladies a little, since they are all huge parts of my life:

Christy is my MOH and she will also be my sister-in-law on September 6. Christy has welcomed me into her family with open arms and has been there for me through a lot in the past year. She is one of the strongest women I know and I admire her so much. She's also hilarious and can make you cry because you're laughing so hard.

Somer is my cousin and even though we weren't that close growing up because she is a couple of years older than me, we have become best friends over the recent years. We've had so many good times together and helped each other throughout some hard times, too. She is one of the best people I know, with the biggest heart.

Michelle is a BFF that I met through Somer. She has been one of those friends that you just look up to and want to emulate. She is always put together perfectly and just stays polished no matter what. We've had so many fun time together and I am so happy that she is going to be a part of this day. Chelle is someone that you can trust with your life and tell anything to - she is an amazing friend!

Mary Beth has been my BFF since 4th grade. We were in the same class that year, with her mom as our teacher. We've been best friends ever since, from cheerleading in middle school, to theater performances in high school, and we even roomed together in college for a while and graduated from NGU at the same time. I had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids when she married her college sweetheart and I am so glad that she is honoring me by being a bridesmaid in my wedding.

Hilary is my other cousin and Somer's sister. She is 8 months younger than me and we were together all the time as kids because we were so close in age and the youngest. Hil is someone I really look up to because she has such a direct personality and is not afraid to say what she thinks. I was so glad when she said she would be a bridesmaid because I love her so much and know she is going to be a beautiful bridesmaid!

Katie is my BFF from high school. We had French class together (she was Sophie) and towards the end of 11th grade we started hanging out together all the time. Thankfully that hasn't stopped! We have been through all kinds of craziness together and she is honestly the best listener I know. I am so proud of all that she has accomplished and all that she is going to accomplish in her life. She has an unshakable faith in God and a life that shows it. I love her so much!!!

P.S. My bridesmaids dresses are FABULOUS!
