I am a shopaholic. I mean, I really am. I even like grocery shopping because I get to buy something. It's crazy and I've often wondered if I should get into group therapy (I haven't as of yet). I have tried to be better about WHAT I buy and not be so concerned about labels, but I must confess - I am still somewhat of a label snob. Please don't get me wrong, I will sport Merona from Target any day of the week if the price is right and the item is adorable, but my heart is in J.Crew, among their $150 cashmere sweaters.
Now, every once in a while I will stumble across a name brand that has been *gasp* put on CLEARANCE...my favorite word. Last weekend, I found a great pair of New Balance running shoes (please remember my goal to run in a half marathon, hence the needed shoes) in gray and pink for $20. Seriously. Of course I snatched them up. And TODAY I found a Columbia fleece for $20. That one was a bit of a stretch...the women's fleece jackets were around $40 - 50, so I moseyed over to the youth section and, lo and behold, a fleece for an extremely large youth, which fits this slightly overweight 25 year old woman perfectly. AND it's pink. LOVE IT. I have included pictures of both my cute finds (these are stock pics). I am really REALLY proud of myself. Although I'm pretty sure that I have broken a New Year's resolution even though this stuff was on sale. But at least I'll look super cute huffing and puffing my way along...
